Problem Note 57821: The Load_STG2DM_Geo_prod_price_fact job might not load expected records into the partition PRICE_FACT_FUTURE table

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The SAS® Revenue Optimization Load_STG2DM_Geo_prod_price_fact job might not load expected records into a partition PRICE_FACT_FUTURE table. When a product has multiple locations that have the same values for REGULAR_PRICE, ACTUAL_PRICE and PRICE_TYPE in both the PRICE_FACT_FUTURE and STG_GEO_PROD_PRICE files, only the first location might be loaded into the PRICE_FACT_FUTURE table.

The following example shows what happens when data is loaded for the week ending 27FEB2016.

Partition PRICE_FACT_FUTURE table before running the Load_STG2DM_Geo_prod_price_fact job:

PROD_ID GEO_ID VALID_FROM_DT VALID_TO_DT REGULAR_PRICE ACTUAL_PRICE PRICE_TYPE
PROD_A STORE_01 24FEB2016 31DEC5199 6 3 3
PROD_A STORE_02 24FEB2016 31DEC5199 6 3 3

DIDM_STG.STG_GEO_PROD_PRICE:

PROD_ID GEO_ID EFFECTIVE_DT REGULAR_PRICE ACTUAL_PERM_PRICE
PROD_A STORE_01 02MAR2016 6 3
PROD_A STORE_02 02MAR2016 6 3

Partition PRICE_FACT_FUTURE table after the Load_STG2DM_Geo_prod_price_fact job has run:

PROD_ID GEO_ID VALID_FROM_DT VALID_TO_DT REGULAR_PRICE ACTUAL_PRICE PRICE_TYPE
PROD_A STORE_01 02MAR2016 31DEC5199 6 3 3
